The original title of this post was (un)inspired--my current mood for the past month or so. If you haven't noticed, it's been pretty quiet on the blog lately. To be quite honest, I've been battling writer's block and making sure I keep things authentic to me.
So I took sometime to think about why I started the blog to begin with: me and sharing philanthropy.
In a day with so many bloggers/instagrammers/influencers (cringe), it's so easy to get lost and caught up in the seemingly picture-perfect world.
So, I'm working on me and some of the big issues I've encounter in both blogging and just being a millennial:
- Comparison: it's just not worth. The grass isn't always greener. What you see on social most likely isn't 100% real life.
- "Fake it til you make it" culture: Just do you. Stop pretneding to be something/someone you aren't.
- Cell phone: Put it down. Enjoy real life more.
